About
Transferservice, a professional taxi company, aimed to modernize its online presence and provide a user-friendly solution for customer management. The goal was to develop a multilingual web application featuring a comprehensive reservation system, a customer portal, and an API that integrates with their external CRM system. Additionally, the API needed to be flexible and reusable to easily support new websites for acquired taxi companies.
The application was built in Symfony with a modular design, making it easily adaptable and future-proof. To ensure usability, the reservation process was divided into clear steps, supported by extensive client-side validation with JavaScript and dynamic adjustments such as the implementation of the Google Places API. This approach makes the website intuitive and accessible to a broad audience.
The project began with multiple mockups that were fine-tuned in collaboration with Transferservice until they were fully satisfied.
Challenge
The website needed to be user-friendly, flexible to manage, and prepared for future expansion to other taxi companies. Additionally, the API had to be designed to be reusable and easily implementable on other platforms without compromising current performance.
Solution
A multilingual web application in Symfony with a modular design, an intuitive step-by-step reservation system, dynamic fields using the Google Places API, and a reusable API seamlessly integrated with external CRM systems.
Result
Although the platform is not yet live, a ready-to-use version is available on the staging environment. The client is currently conducting extensive testing to ensure the application fully meets their requirements and expectations. This careful approach underscores their commitment to delivering a flawless final product.
